Microsoft might be the most entrenched technology company in the world. If a business uses email, documents, or cloud computing, they're almost certainly paying Microsoft for it. Office 365, Azure, Teams, Windows, LinkedIn, GitHub, Dynamics — the product list reads like the operating system for modern work.

The cloud business is the growth engine. Azure is the second-largest cloud platform behind AWS, and it's growing faster — north of 30% in recent quarters, with AI services accounting for an increasing share of that growth. Microsoft's strategic partnership with OpenAI gives it a unique advantage: the company that built ChatGPT runs on Azure, and every Copilot feature across Office, Windows, and enterprise products is powered by that same AI infrastructure.
